Our Story

Have you ever been out in the middle of your day only to notice your phone just hit the dreaded red zone and panic starts to ensue? Trust us, we have all been there and gone through all of the frustrating options.  From buying an overpriced charing cable you don’t need, trying to find an outlet that doesn’t exist, or having a bartender whisk your phone away to a “safe” place where it could be lost or damaged, we thought there had to be a better solution.

In doing vast amounts of research we quickly understood why restaurants and bars were not offering this type of solution.  We found that the existing solutions were too expensive, they would require constant attention from the staff or could easily be damaged or worse yet… stolen!  Big red flags to establishment owners and managers.  From this, Onyx Charge was born.  A low cost and convenient solution for both the establishment and the end user.  A WIN-WIN for all.

Our mission is to grow our vast network of portable charging stations at everyday places you know and love.  We strive to give added daily convenience in everyones life.  Whether its giving your phone an extra boost so you don’t miss an important work call, help you make it in time to to a magical first date, or after a night out getting a safe ride home.  With your help, we can achieve this goal one charge at a time.
